Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Walter is an older male who came in through our local pound. When Walter first arrived we noticed that he was drooling excessively. Upon further examination, it was found that he had sores on his tongue that were causing so much pain that he found it hard to eat and drink. Walter is finishing a round of steroids and doing extremely well. Walter is sensitive to his surroundings/food/food dishes which may cause him to develop sores inside/outside of his mouth. He is on a daily steroid treatment that is given transdermally in his ear to keep the sores under control. He gets along with dogs and cats. He would do best in a home with older children or serve as a companion for an adult. He's got a great purr and it doesn't take much to get his motor running. He LOVES catnip! Walter will tolerate being picked up, but would prefer getting places on his own accord. He especially loves sleeping in the same room as his favorite people. He gladly welcomes petting and cuddles while lounging on his favorite couch/bed. He is a bit vocal if he is locked out of his favorite place to sleep. He is vaccinated, neutered, front paw declawed and microchipped.
