KitKat's Story...
Don't let KitKat fool you. She likes to act shy at first -- trying to hide out under the edge of a bed. However, as soon as she hears your voice, her darling little peanut head will peek out and she'll run over to you ready for attention. She is a petite little purr monster that wants you to pet, scratch and rub her, over and over and over again. It takes minutes for her to remember that humans come with all the love and attention she has been waiting for.

Best of all, she's super comfortable around cats and dogs, but isn't afraid to to let her four-legged friends know her boundaries. At 6-7 months old, she has already spent way to much of her short little life in foster care. It's time for this little velvet princess to find her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KitKat, a Bensalem American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Bensalem, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bensalem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bensalem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bensalem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bensalem paves the way for another one to be saved.
