Looking at the sky, I seem to see a million eyes, which ones are yours? Papa, why did you have to leave me so soon? I thought we’d grow old together, I still have so much to learn. I stood by your side when you took your last breath. I was too young to understand, that my kisses would be the last I’d ever give you. Oh how I miss you… Papa, can you hear me, please know that I’m okay. The rescue folks took me in, I’m no longer alone. I remember what you taught me, to respect my elders, be kind, loyal and love mankind. Papa, please don’t worry about me, I know you’d want what’s best for me. At the tender age of 4 months; I’ve learned what it’s like to love someone, then in a blink of an eye, your world seems so empty, that someone is gone and you feel so lost. My name is Sully. It’s been a month since Papa went to heaven, I’m 5 months old now and ready to share my love with someone. Some might say, I’m wise beyond my years. Maybe so. All I know is that throughout life we must allow ourselves to open our hearts to give and receive love from one another. In doing so; yes, our hearts may ache when that love is gone. However, that is the price we pay for loving someone and that great love we experience will burn bright in our hearts for eternity… If you are interested in adopting me, please know that I’m friendly and affectionate. I weigh 9 pounds and don’t think I’m going to get much bigger. I love playing with canines, felines and meeting new humans. I ride well in the car and like going for walks. I’m still a puppy so I’m working on doing my business outside, which I’m doing quite well. I’m pretty smart for my age, learning new things quickly.
