Meet  Magdalene , a lovely young adult Beagle mix who is about 3 years old,  32 lb, spayed, and crate trained and housebroken.  Here's what she has to say:

My Fommy calls me a real stunner.  I have the classic markings and floppy ears of a tri-color beagle (and you should hear my arrrhooo),  but I have a leaner body and longer legs. My Fommy tells me I'm suitable for a career as a high fashion runway model. She said something about a "catwalk" and that sounds good to me....I'm good living with cats.

But don't let my exquisite beauty fool ya.  I'm a tomboy at heart and love to wrestle and play with my foster brothers.  I love to run and I run fast, either in a securely fenced backyard or doggy park.  Inside I am more of a couch (well...technically dog-bed) potato.  I like older children (I've heard them called "teenagers"), younger kids do startle me a bit.  I am happy to meet all two and four legged critters, unless the 2 legged critters have feathers and wings....well I'm still happy to meet them, but they may not like me so much.  I have a happy "glad to get to know you bark" but I quiet quickly with treats or affection.  I am a good watch dog, I alert my foster family to any potential intruders, including the yard guy, the delivery guy, and the postman. So I'm probably not the best fit for an apartment unless the neighbors are very dog friendly people.  I am learning to walk on a leash, and I love to see my Fommy pick it up because that means we are going "splorin" ....I'm still learning not to pull at times, but I can't help myself when I see something that I want to sniff closer.  I sleep in a crate at my Fommy's home just fine (sometimes I just go in it because it's my quiet space), but I'd be just as happy to move into yours!  Come meet me soon!

About Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia. We operate through a network of foster homes in the metro Atlanta area.

Our efforts are funded by tax-deductible contributions from compassionate people and organizations who care and want to help make a difference... one pet at a time.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email inquiry@angelsrescue.org if you are interested in a specific dog.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org.
Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
