Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Kodak" (a 2-3 year old neutered male Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix, approximately 70 lbs) & "Zina" (a 2-3 year old spayed female Siberian Husky, approximately 55 lbs) are a fully vetted bonded pair that are microchipped, UTD on shots and preventative meds, and are now anxiously awaiting their forever home. The perfect home for them would be one that could offer lots of exercise and attention as they are very sweet but certainly not dogs that you can just keep in a kennel or left alone in the yard all day. Older children would be okay, but because of their size, energy level, and attention requirements, small children are not recommended in the immediate family on a daily basis. These guys can be mischievous, but we believe that to be because although they have a great temporary foster home, they still aren't getting enough one on one attention and exercise that each needs to be the best companions possible. Currently, they dig and chew (from boredom and lack of stimulation), but again, we believe that can and will be mostly if not completely alleviated with the perfect home that can give them what they need to thrive! They are fine around other large dogs, but would prefer to be the only dogs in the household if possible. Also, a home without other small animals and/or livestock is recommended. An active owner/adopter is a MUST for this pair or a LARGE 6' fully fenced yard is required. This is to ensure everyone's happiness and safety! Kodak and Zina are certainly not for a first time dog owner that is looking for a couch potato, but if you're looking for a wonderful duo that's as sweet as can be and will be up for plenty of adventures, let's get in touch!
Both dogs are very affectionate, love to interact with their "people", play fetch, go for walks, and give lots of puppy kisses! They each also already know how to sit, and Kodak knows how to shake as well while Zina promptly rolls over for you to shower her with endless belly rubs.
