My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eddie is a handsome hunk ! He is a one-year old kitty who has been staying in his rescuers guest room (with screened-in porch) for one month and he is so ready to be adopted! He was a shy stray who came around to her house for 2-3 months but once she made a concerted effort they became fast friends. He has a clipped ear had been neutered and returned to the alley.

Eddie is incredibly sweet, clean, perfect with the litter box, affectionate, sociable, and has a calm demeanor. He can handle being alone but also loves company, too. He loves to be brushed and petted, play "catch the feather," and listen to music, especially classical music. He has all his shots up-to-date, including feline distemper booster, had his teeth cleaned, and had a fractured upper left canine tooth removed. He also got a full blood workup which revealed that he is in great health but he is FIV-positive, although he shows no clinical signs. Cats with FIV can live long healthy lives along with other cats.

Eddie comes with full medical records, scratching post and lounge, toys, brush, and a month's supply of litter and food.


Eddie has charmed three cat sitters who looked after him when I have travelled recently on two separate trips, and one trip lasted for several days.

His vet wrote about Eddie: “He is a super sweet cat. I hope you find him a good home.”

We think he would get along fine with all ages, dogs, and cats
