Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Rusty
Age: 1 year
Disability: Sight impaired
Breed/Weight: Schnauzer/doxy mix 12 lbs.
History: Rusty was an owner give up and landed in our local shelter. Another very neglected small dog that needed help fast.
When we rescued Rusty he was in desperate need of vetting and grooming, he was matted and flea ridden. Besides being super cute, Rusty has your typical Schnauzer temperament. He is a funny little guy, who exemplifies all the great characteristics of the breed, intelligent, fearless, super loyal, very loving, super sweet, very obedient, settles quickly and just downright charming. All who meet him fall in love!
Next week Rusty has and appointment with our eye specialist. We are hoping he might be a candidate to have his young cataracts removed. We will post a Rusty update after his appointment. All of his regular routine vetting has been done along with his very first grooming and he is looking and doing great! Rusty is currently in a foster home, and doing well with family and fur family.
