My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"My name is SAGE, and I'm a sweet two-year-old Border Collie mix girl who'd love to meet you. When I came to the shelter, I was quite overwhelmed, and I didn't even want to leave my kennel. I've grown more confident each day, so now I enjoy going out to the play yard for snuggles and exploration. I've been nothing but gentle and loving since I got here, even though I was pretty scared. Everyone agrees that I have a heart that's pure gold. I'd love to be adopted by a person or family that understands my nature. I'm destined to be a great companion, especially if I'm in a loving home where life is fairly quiet and predictable, and where I can take one step at a time. If a family adopts me, the kids would need to be older and considerate. I get along well with other dogs, and I'm always respectful. Please come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so you can see what a wonderful friend I'll be. Love, Sage"
