My story

Hi there, my name is Herschel. My friends at my temporary home sometimes call me "Hersh" as a nickname.

I enjoy having a lot of people to play with me at the moment, but I would love to find a new family which I could call my own. I have a loving personality and I would like to be able to share it with you.

I am a relaxed companion, but my bubbly personality shines through even without me wanting to run around the yard for hours at a time like a less mature pup.

When I am excited about going outside or having the chance to be around people, I will bounce around while wagging my tail to show how happy I am. I also like to talk periodically when I am excited or if I want to get someone’s attention to take me outside, but I am usually pretty quiet in comparison to my hound heritage.
