Lola is a beautiful Golden Retriever. She is one year old, continues to exhibit young dog behavior and wants to play with other dogs. She is not cat reactive. Lola loves to chew on bully sticks and large chew bones, but can be guarded about sharing them with other dogs. Lola is intelligent and food motivated, which enhances her ability to quickly learn training commands. When properly motivated, she enjoys spending time in her crate and sleeps in the crate at night. Lola wants to be near and spend time with people.Lola is best in a home with children over 16. Due to this strong attachment, she has developed separation anxiety and will bark in her crate when people are not home or in the same space. The ideal family for Lola would continue her obedience training and work with her to lessen the separation anxiety. Our rescue’s trainer has evaluated Lola and is happy to discuss her behavior with potential adopters. (AFTER A COMPLETED ADOPTION APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED). Adoption fee $250. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED!

Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis.
