My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thanks for stopping in! My name is Frankie, and I am a goofy, happy-go-lucky gal. I came into the shelter as a stray after recently having puppies (the humans tell me that my boobies will shrink over time now that I am spayed). If I had to describe myself in three terms, I would say: endearing, goofy and eager-to-please. I can be a timid at first meet, but my shy side goes away quickly once I get a little comfortable. I love all creatures two-legged and four, and I particularly like to play follow-the-leader with other pups—I would thrive in a home with another dog as I continue to learn the ropes of how to be a “normal” dog. Although I am goofy, I’m also pretty darn smart, as I am already kennel-trained and housebroken! I love to play, and when I get ahold of a decent toy or get a good “romp/roll” around in the yard going, I can become absorbed into my own world, and am able to entertain myself for hours (or just sun bathe for a while). I tested positive for heartworms, but, no worries, I have already begun the first steps of treatment! Here’s the thing: I am MORE than ready to settle down with a family to call my own, and I really hope that it can be yours! What are you waiting for? Set something up to meet me today! I promise, my blissful manner will not disappoint you.

Young puppies are under 2 years old. Young dogs all come with spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and vet exam. Adoption fee is $50-$150.
