Meet Butters! This handsome hunk is a 1 year old Pittie mix, who wants to fulfil his lifelong dream of being a lap dog! He is a sweet fella who loves belly rubs and sitting in your lap, and he is living that dream already in his foster home.
Butters loves soft toys, is potty trained, and is doing very well in crate training. He even sleeps in the crate all night without complaining. He is a bit of an alpha dog, so he would do well in a home with no other dogs. He does, however, do well with his foster sister who is a smaller female.
Do you want Butters to warm your heart (and lap) this holiday season? Apply to meet him today!
Butters is available for pre-adopt only at this time, as he is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated. For more information about the spread, treatment, and prevention of heartworms visit: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/dog-care/heartworm
