Claus's Story...
Meet one of the Christmas Spirit puppies. Mom appears to be a small (about 35 lb) Shepherd mix and dad appears to be a medium-sized German Shepherd mix. We are calling them "Shepherd Mix" but we don't know what breed or breeds they might be mixed with other than it appears to be a smaller breed. Based on that we are estimating the puppies will be 35-45 lbs when full grown, but that is just our best guess.

The puppies were born on November 18th and will be ready for forever homes January 13, 2017. We will be accepting applications for them and hope to have forever homes waiting for these sweet pups by the time they are old enough to go home. They will be old enough for visitors in mid-December.

If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please visit our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download an application or email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you one. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claus, a Gallatin Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
