My story

Meet Lionel! This adorable 6 year old little guy is a unique mix of a Chow Chow and Welsh Corgi making him look like a miniature Chow. Lionel came to WDR from a high intake facility with little to no information about his background. He is very timid with new people, which is most likely the reason he has been in a shelter for the past 6 months. Lionel needs a home with patience and understanding of the breed. He will need a home with a fenced in yard and no small children. A family with the right dog may help build this shy guys confidence and bring out his true personality. Please help us find this guy a loving home before the holidays, Can't you picture him lying under your Christmas tree with visions of yummy dog treats dancing in his head!? It's time for Lionel to put his rugged past behind him and know what it means to be a part of a family that will love and care for him!
