Mattie's Story...
Mattie girl is quite possibly one of the sweetest ladies around. She is about 5 years old and couldn't love you anymore if she tried! Mattie's whole body wiggles when she sees you. She always has a smile on her face, too! Mattie used to live with several other male dogs and loved their company. She would prefer if there were any female dogs in her future forever home that they are submissive. We just think that Mattie is the most loving girl. Her gentle and sweet demeanor are irresistible! Come meet her! She could be your forever dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mattie, a Michigan City American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
