Facts about Padme

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Padme is a charming young kitty. She loves to cuddle on your lap or snuggle into you when sleeping. She is playful – loves her balls and plays with anything as basic as her shadow. She gets along well with other cats/kittens but initially hisses until she gets comfortable in her new environment. For her foster, it only took one day before she settled in and stopped hissing. She prefers not to be confined in smaller spaces.

Padme was initially adopted as a kitten but the owner decided to dump her back on the streets where she was taken to a shelter and rescued once again by Hopalong. She gets along well with children and has been fostered with a 3 year old girl.

Padme has an eye condition called corneal endothelium dystrophy a painful degenerative condition which requires daily eye drops. She is a good girl about allowing her drops. Future blindness is predicted but timeline is unknown.

She may need her eyes removed at some point, for which Hopalong will cover the costs. If you can provide a loving home for this sweet angel, Hopalong will be glad to cover any costs related to her condition.
