Padme was initially adopted as a kitten but the owner decided to dump her back on the streets where she was taken to a shelter and rescued once again by Hopalong. She gets along well with children and has been fostered with a 3 year old girl.
Padme has an eye condition called corneal endothelium dystrophy a painful degenerative condition which requires daily eye drops. She is a good girl about allowing her drops. Future blindness is predicted but timeline is unknown. Her eyes look a little spooky but her vision seems normal at this time.
