Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone say hello to Sammy! Sammy has microphthalmia, meaning his eyes did not completely develop. He is blind but an otherwise healthy, sweet, and happy cat. Way back in July, Sammy came to the shelter with his litter mates at only 2 days old. They went into our foster program and it soon became apparent that Sammy wasn't the same as the others. Once he was old enough, he found a wonderful home that, unfortunately, had to give him away for personal reasons. So, Sammy is here again, waiting patiently for the right family to call his own. He loves to play with all of the toys that make lots of noise, of course. After playing, Sammy is all about cuddling up and having you scratch his chin. You have to be careful, though, to not move too quickly, as that might scare him. If you are ready to take on this blind, loving, fluffball, then come in to the Humane Society to meet him today!
