Teddy is a super sweet 5-year-old cat. He came to KAR when he needed life-saving surgery to remove urinary crystals that resulted in a serious blockage. His family was not able to afford the surgery. We opted to have Teddy undergo an urethrostomy, a surgery that permanently altered Teddy’s anatomy to make future urinary blockages impossible (if crystals occur they will be simply flushed out with his urine). Teddy took many weeks to heal from the surgery, but he is now very well healed and loving life.
Teddy absolutely loves attention. He is a quiet and unassuming cat who is as happy to be by your side as he is on your lap. Teddy is fostered with a young child and would do equally well in a family with or without children. He is very gentle and kind when interacting with children. Teddy’s a special guy – he loves to shower under the bathtub faucet every night in his foster home. He dunks his entire head and body under the running water. Do you have a spot in your home and heart for this unique character?
Teddy is neutered and declawed (done prior to coming into our care).
