Penny's Story...

Penny is a snuggler and a snoozer. She was rescued as a stray and is now enjoying the finer things in life. She loves to snuggle with her foster mom when she watches movies or reads and tucks in by her side or at the foot of the bed at night. Like most cats, Penny loves a good siesta in the sun, and, always a lady, Penny enjoys her water delicately scooped up and licked from her right paw. Penny is an optimist who welcomes the day eagerly...and early. She's also a conversationalist looking for a forever human who can appreciate her distinct, gurgle, meow,

Penny is spayed and will come with all her vaccinations, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped and with 6 weeks of complimentary pet insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Kingston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
