Nolan Voss's Story...
In Memory of Terry Voss - Dearly Missed.
"I decided to sponsor a transport after meeting Terry and Bill Voss. Their love of animals and the work that Joyful Rescues does was contagious. They were inspirational to our family in adopting our dog, Chloe, a rescue. After having a dog of our own and enjoying the love an animal provides it was just natural to support Joyful Rescues. Bill and Terry are two of the most kindest people I have met. Terry is sadly missed. Please place this transport in memory of Terry Voss." ~ Allison Cummings, Inner Balance Chiropractic
Nolan was born about July 18, 2016 and may end up weighing in the 18'ish kind of, sort of, range. As you can tell we are really guessing as no information came with this puppy as to heritage. What we do know is that he is wonderfully friendly, happy, and ready to start a new life although we are told that he is on the shy side at Petsmart when he visits. We like to warn our adopters that many of these small dogs struggle with house training throughout their lives and benefit from having potty floor pads handy. He is wonderful with all the other dogs and anyone else he has met including children 1-5 years old. He really lights up when he sees a small child or another fun, playful, small dog approach. Someone is going to love him to pieces! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
