Ziggy Turner's Story...
I asked Santa for a Human friend for Christmas.... are you going to be my Human Friend????

Meet Ziggy! Ziggy is a 4-5 year old Shihtzu looking for a home to call his own. Ziggy is great with cats and dogs. He is doing well in his foster home on house training and loves to go for a walk on a leash. He loves his toys and car rides are one of his favorites! Bedtime is Ziggy's favorite time of day he would lounge and relax in bed with you all day if you would allow it. He loves feeding time and doesn't mind having his breakfast served in bed! Ziggy is best for curling up in your lap and sleeping like a baby!

Due to allergies Ziggy will need a special diet and a Nexgard every month.

Ziggy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm test, microchipped, on flea and heartworm preventative, groomed and ready for his new home.

Adoption Donation is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy Turner, a Urbana Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
