Amelia's Story...
**Please note... Amelia is in a private foster home and an application MUST be completed, submitted & approved before a meet & greet is allowed. She is not in a shelter.

She is around 14 weeks old and loves to talk especially when hungry or wants in her Foster Mom's lap. Amelia loves to snuggle up when sleepy. She loves to chase anything that moves. She does growl at her Foster Mom's big cats so she can be the first to eat. Amelia has been raised with a pug and a dachshund mix. She has been spayed, received her kitten shots.

Amelia was found in a box in a ditch with her 3 siblings and had to be bottled fed. We have no idea of exact breed, we are only basing his breed on her looks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Anderson Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Anderson, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Anderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
