Comet is a male Terrier mix puppy only 3 months old. He is a round, soft, cuddly little guy currently weighing about 5 pounds. His estimated adult weight should be around 12 pounds. Comet is winter white in color with a few touches of caramel here and there. He has dark expressive eyes and his adorable ears flop over at the very tip. Comet is a cute, active, fun loving bundle of happiness. He enjoys playing, cuddling, and eating. He takes puppy naps throughout the day, but seems to be able to keep up very well with other dogs and family activity during waking hours. Comet loves toys and will collect and carry multiple toys at one time, sometimes even tripping and rolling over on them in his puppy haste. He is an amusing little fellow, full of warmth and affection. Comet also has an endearing habit of moving his doggie bed to wherever you happen to be. He will bond strongly to his people and family and seems to prefer a soft touch. Comet is wonderful with other small dogs his size and plays appropriately with his canine friends. He is an irresistible bundle of joy. Comet was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was found stray and orphaned. He has been vet checked and is very healthy. Comet is puppy pad/paper trained and learning good potty habits. He is still a pup so will need consistent, regular potty breaks. Comet is good with children but they will need to be gentle since he is quite small. Younger children are not recommended for Comet due to his tiny size. He is going to make a lovely little pet and companion. Comet is a well-adjusted boy and ready for his new forever loving home today!

Comet’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, UTD on VACCINATIONS, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Comet is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Vicki and Cecil and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COMET, a Newport Beach Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
