Poncho's Story...
Aren’t we cute? We almost don’t look like siblings, but we are! We are a bit of a mystery… I have a feeling we will grow to be 20-30lbs, although we could be smaller and we could be bigger… See, our parents are reported to be Spaniel/Dachshund/Poodle… But look at these faces! There has to be something else in there, but who knows… And who cares!!! The point I’m trying to make here is that we are the sweetest, cutest, wonderful little puppies you’ll ever meet! A couple of miracles! So hurry up and give us a home!!! 3 months old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $275 and includes; reduced cost neuter and $25 rebate, free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, 5 week Training Class, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poncho, a Portland Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
