Teron's Story...
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray……
Teron here, and I wanna be your sunshine. I am the most loyal, affection, happy pup around. I just love love love people and all the attention they have to offer. My last family just didn’t have enough time to offer me all the attention and training I needed, so here I am looking for a new one. At 8 months old I am still a puppy, full of puppy energy. I really bond to my people and get anxious when they’re not around- good thing I am crate trained! I can go in my crate and stay all night (or day if you prefer), in my little den I feel safe and secure. I am mostly all the way housebroken too, I haven’t had an accident in weeks! I love to play with other dogs, and I love to play fetch. So going to the dog park or playing ball are excellent ways to wear me out and keep me happy, oh wait, I am always happy! I have lived with cats, and they are waaaayyy to fun to chase. And my lady family had 5 children, as young as 1 year old. I really do love kids but I am a big playful boy so gentle children a little bit older will be much better for me. Winters on the way, you looking to add a little sunshine to your life? 8 months old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; neuter, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (Portland/Milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teron, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
