Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey is as sweet as, well, honey.. and that's how she got her name. She is about 12 pounds and 4-5 years old. She is very calm and quiet. She sleeps in her crate but would much rather sleep with her people. She is food motivated... loves bully sticks and Kongs. She knows her sit command. Honey is very trusting and sweet with people, although she will chase bunnies! She does great with the foster family's older, larger dog, likes her car rides, and even enjoys shopping with her foster parents at Home Depot. She walks well on leash, has to have hugs first thing in the morning, and makes the cutest little cooing sounds. She is a little love bug with sweet brown eyes. Honey would make a great companion for an adult only home or one with older, respectful children.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
