Peggy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Peggy's Story...
Peggy is a 1-1/2-year-old female tabby with white paws

Peggy is a petite little girl that is very active. She will need a home where she can get interactive play with humans (laser dot, feather wands) as well as lots of toys to play with on her own.

She is very friendly and when she has played out some of that high energy she will come sit on your lap and lick your face in a show of affection! She may be OK with one other cat with a slow introduction but doesn't like a lot of cats around.

Peggy would do best in a home without very small children as she will nibble on hands if she gets over-excited.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801,, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peggy, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
