Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet John Doe! He is a young boy - about 1 yr old. John Doe came to us while he was recovering from a fractured pelvis injury... he is doing just fine and is almost at full recovery. He loves to explore, go for walks, and play with other dogs.
Adoption fee is $95 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, 30-days pet health insurance, vaccinations, worming and a vet visit voucher. Some of our dogs have also had heartworm tests, flea treatments, canine influenza vaccines, etc., but it is not standard procedure - please inquire about the specific animal you are interested in.
Also, some animals may not have been spayed/neutered at the time they are posted for adoption, but it is included in the adoption fee. And no worries, we have weekly surgery appointments with our vet on Wednesdays and Fridays, so the wait from adoption to going home wouldn't be long. They can be adopted or reserved as yours at anytime to get on the surgery list! Please call us for more information.
We do adopt out-of-state, but require adopters to have a plan for getting their new addition home before we process an application. Please check out the airlines, PilotsNPaws, Operation Roger and CARE Transport in Denver for some transport options.
We are open Monday - Friday 10:30 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm. You can also call us at 719-680-2385.
Thank you for considering adoption through our shelter.
