Hello! My name is Star! I'm a tall Border Collie mix I'm told! Basically, it means I have big ears (as you can see), long legs and I like to run! (A girls gotta keep fit ya know?) I'm a fit 45 pounds and almost 2 years old. They say I'm a Georgia Peach with a lot of charm!! I currently reside on a farm where I've encountered chickens, ducks and rabbits. However, I have a hard time understanding that they are not food. So it would be best if I wasn’t around small animals or children. I’m what they call “head strong” I’m not sure what that means, I know I’m strong but do we need to lay it on so thick? Just kidding. I can admit I’m stubborn, as with a lot of dogs that aren’t trained at a young age. So to save you and me the headache I’ll just come right out and say that I will need an owner that can deal with that. It’s not a deal breaker by any means. I could be a dachshund after all…. now THAT’S a stubborn breed! Hehehehe?

I also love to run! I also might be secretly training for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo in the 200-meter dash! So I should probably say, I'll need a fence at my forever home. I get along with other dogs with proper paw shaking of course, but I'm more fond of the boys than girls. I can't really explain why I'm not fond of my fellow gender, maybe I just want all the male attention for myself. I’m also protective of my home and my people. A few other things about you should know- I'm crated when my foster mom goes to work and I'm good at going potty outside! Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me! I look forward to meeting you and showing how much of a “Star”; I really am! (See what I did there!)
