Rusty's Story...
It is a mystery why Rusty has been looking for a home since November and hasn't found one. She is a really sweet 2 year old. Rusty was found in Wellington and is in the "cattery" at FAPL where she does well with other cats. She is a quiet kitty who would be a great buddy. Stop by and spend some time with Rusty and see if this nice cat could be the one for you.

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed and spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. Kittens under a year old are $50 and cats over a year are only $20. All kittens/cats over 3 months old are also micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Elyria Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
