Mickey is an energetic and cheerful 8 year old who loves to take walks, loves to play with other small dogs and especially loves to be close to a human companion. The shelter thinks he is a Shetland Sheepdog Chihuahua mix. His new companion will need to feed him kibble sold at the Vet for dogs with sensitive urinary systems and allergies, but as long as he is kept on his diet, he's a healthy boy. Mickey is a handsome 17 lbs dog who is treat-oriented and a quick learner. He will need some leash training and will need to be taught some basic manners, especially around pizza! But he'll always sit for a treat. He is house broken but might have a bit of confusion when settling into his new home. He likes company, whether canine or human, so he'll be happier if not left completely alone. Mickey is a great dog! He can be met by appointment at Love and Leashes in Santa Monica, CA.
