Meet Brody, one of our new rescue arrivals! At a mere one years old, this Miniature Pinscher / Dachshund mix boy is seeking a forever home just in time for the holidays. Brody was rescued and bounced from home to home before finding his way to our rescue, where he makes progress every day in becoming more confident with people. Sweet and cuddly, Brody can be timid at first but is easily won with patience and a slow approach. Once you win him over, Brody will show you his love with shy kisses and will be happy to keep your lap warm for as long as you’re willing to let him occupy it. Due to his shyness, Brody would prefer a quiet home with adults only, and would prefer to be the only dog in the home (but might be willing to share his space with a mellow, older dog). Because Brody can be vocal, he would do best in a stand-alone residence rather than an apartment or condo, but Brody would love opportunities to boost his bravery through training so that he can share in all kinds of adventures with you! We are unsure of how Brody does with cats at the moment, but when it comes to cute and cuddly, Brody gets nothing but gold stars and high marks!
