Cooper's Story...
Cooper is new to our rescue and we are still getting to know him. He is very cautious with everything at this point. We guess he is about 6-8 months old. He is timid around new people but will come to me if I get down to his level. He has been neglected, starved and under socialized, but he is young enough to bring him around. He has been introduced to about 3 other rotties so far and has been doing well with them. He does show some food and cage aggression towards other dogs but not people. Take those two items out of the picture and he is fine. He has been through a lot lately. I think we will see much improvement after working with him for a few days.
If you would like to meet Cooper please fill out out adoption questionnaire located here thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Gilbert Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
