Meet pretty Piper, one of our new rescue arrivals! This 4 month old baby bunny girl counts head rubs, petting, and affection among her favorite things. If you’re looking for a direct path to her heart, kale is a surefire bet, along with other veggies like dill, mint, and cilantro which are all on her preferred menu! When Piper looks at you with a sideways tilt of her head, she is not playing coy – she truly has difficulty keeping her head upright and needs to be handled delicately. However, her slightly askew view of life has given her a spunky streak and an appreciation of toys (which she loves playing with) and hopping around (in supervised, safe environments, of course)! This little lady loves to be where the action is but still needs respectful handling, so older kids and adults may be the best fit for her. Piper hasn’t had much luck establishing any cross-species friendships yet, despite her best efforts at forging them. But we suspect that with gentle, respectful pets in the home, she would do just as beautifully as she does with her human friends here at the rescue!
