Hi my name is Mary and I'm a female 6 year old Chihuahua mix who came to the shelter as a stray. Can you imagine, a little pup such as myself wandering the streets alone? I was very frightened when I first arrived and didn't even want to leave my bed. But I'm slowly coming out of my shell and am beginning to enjoy all of the attention from the volunteers. I even wag my tail and do a little dance when they come to take me out. I'm an extremely quiet girl, never making a peep. I'm looking for a warm bed, a soft, welcoming lap and a person who will love me like I will love them - completely and totally. If you're looking for a small, quiet companion to share your home with, please stop by the shelter to meet me. I've been to the private vet and am ready to go.
