Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I think that shelter cats are often misunderstood.
Seems a lot of folks think that cats in shelters are somehow "damaged goods". That they're in a shelter because they're "unwanted" or "bad" or "just no darn good".
Well, I can tell you that cats are in shelters because they don't have homes to be in, that's all. And a shelter is more than just a place to be when you have no place else to go - it's a place to help you get a home! Pretty cool, if you ask me!
After all, a super affectionate cat like me could get into trouble out on the streets. I'm the sort of cat who thinks that every person is a nice person and will be kind to me... but I hear that sometimes people are mean to cats? Oh dear. I can't even think about stuff like that.
That's why I like it here - everyone is nice! And all the people who come in to look at cats to adopt are nice, too! Nice people are my favorite kind of people! I can't wait until I get a nice person of my own!
So if you maybe know of someone who is nice and they're looking for a super affectionate declawed cat who is also really playful and fun, can you please send them my way? Tell them to ask for Miss Understood - that's me!
Thank you!
Ms Understand has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $65 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.
