My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated age as of 12/7 - between 6 and 8 months
Weight as of 12/7 - appx 27 lbs
Estimated size as adult - medium

Tilly and her two litter mates were rescued from a kill shelter on 11/7. She has settled into her foster home very nicely. She is a beautiful, super sweet pup who loves attention but is just a tad on the timid side at present (undoubtedly due to the upheaval she's been through). During her "photo session" she was more interested in snuggling and playing than showing off her pretty face. Tilly wants nothing more than to have a safe and loving home, and she deserves nothing less.

Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and treated for fleas/ticks. The adoption donation is $165.

If you're interested in giving Tilly a loving FOREVER home, please complete an application via our website, www.cofas.org. If you have questions, you can email me (her foster mom) at fostermomjudy@gmail.com.

Australian cattle dogs (aka blue heelers or red heelers) are known for their keen intelligence and energetic disposition. They are NOT well suited for a "couch potato" lifestyle. They require daily activities that exercise both mind and body; therefore, they're best with an active human companion - great for agility, endurance sports such as hiking, or other dog friendly activities/sports. ACDs are typically affectionate, playful, and form a strong bond with their owner (which can make them quite protective). They require minimal grooming and are not year round shedders.
