Matti is a perfectly delightful gal with a few years under her belt, she's just what you're looking for if you want a chill, sweet, easy-going dog who fits right in wherever she goes. Our vet estimates Matti as 6-7 years old, she's a compact 50 lbs, and has all of the manners befitting a lady of her age. Mattie is friend to all, and is especially gentle around kids and the elderly. She's perfect in the house, quiet in her crate and non-destructive if left loose. Matti loves the company of other dogs, and thinks going for a ride in the truck is a special treat invented just for her. She's an excellent walking companion who may or may not forget her manners if she sees a squirrel, but she quickly regroups without too much effort. See, squirrels and cats are kinda her achilles heel, so she'll need a cat-free home and if you can arrange for no thunderstorms, that'd be cool by her as well. All and all, this is one easy little dog who'd fit into just about any cat-free home looking for a chill little bud to liven up the family. Matti would love to find a home to spoil her for the holidays, will that home be with you? Email to find out more about Matti!

Our adoption fee is $225. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
