Cookie's Story...
If I'm not the cutest pup you've ever seen I don't know who is. My name is Cookie and I love to play. I am about 11 months old and weigh around 40 pounds. My favorite game is playing tug. My foster mom says I'm very smart and I've been told I have great drive. I have mastered the 'sit' command and am working on the 'lay down' command. I am also in a training program at K9 University to learn other puppy basics. The training program is transferable and goes with me to my new adopter. How cool is that? I walk well on leash and ride well in the car. I sleep quietly through the night with no problems...actually I'm a pro at this crate business. I am even housebroken. I've been exposed to cats and am a little overly friendly for most cats taste. If they want to play with me, that would make me happy! Would you love to have someone to run and play with and love you unconditionally? If so, then I'm your girl. Please come meet me. You can find out more about me by emailing info@habitat4paws.org.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the "Adopt" page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a McKinney Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
