My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JAGGER was bought from a breeder as a pup about three years ago and was in a home with kids until recently when the family had to give her up.

She needed to be groomed, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated as the family had not managed to do these things.

But now this gal is ready for a new home. She's a high energy dynamo, and needs a home where she is getting enough exercise and stimulation to keep her busy and happy. She is super affectionate with people and can manage being with other dogs but doesn't integrate very well with them as she never lived with dogs before. She can be possessive about toys and food as she never had to share before. A larger friendly, playful dog might encourage her to be more outgoing with dogs but she might do just fine as an only dog.

She is house trained and sleeps through the night in a crate, though cuddling up with her person is where she'd rather be. She has not been trained to stay off surfaces so be careful you don't find this cute dog eating the Christmas turkey on the counter. She is a diamond in the rough - in the right home with sufficient exercise and more supervision she will settle down to be a wonderful companion.
