COME MEET ME SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 and hopefully adopt me. I WOULD LOVE A HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! I will be at Rural King located at 430 Oberlin Road in Elyria, Ohio from 10 am - 1 pm. It is best to complete an application before coming so that if you meet me and want to take me home, you can. But we will also have applications available at the event. Can't wait to meet you!

Buster came in to the shelter as a stray and needed immediate veterinary attention because of a problem with his back leg. He was in a lot of pain. So MBR took him in and on to the vet he went.

His femur was broken as well as several different breaks in his pelvis and pelvic floor. Because x-rays showed these breaks had occurred 3-4 weeks prior, the only option was to amputate his back left leg.

Buster is now recovering from his surgery in a foster home. He is a sweet sweet boy! He is adjusting well to having only 3 legs. His foster mom says he is house trained and simply loves everyone. His favorite thing to do is to jump on your lap and cuddle. He is happy, and full of tail wags and kisses.
