Isn't he sweet! Dee is a loving, special needs Pit mix looking for a slow moving home that prefers Netflix binges to running marathons.

Dee is completely loving and attentive to people. He is wonderful with children and has such an outgoing personality. He loves being outside and playing with balls.

He is a smaller boy who has a bit of a neurological problem which makes long walks or multiple flights of stairs impossible. His mind is willing but his legs simply go out on him so a nice fenced in yard with few stairs would be perfect for Dee.

Dee prefers to be the only furry child in your life but is wonderful with all people and is potty trained.

About Cause for Canines

About Our Rescue Group...

Cause for Canines is a volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adoptable dogs and puppies attend Mingle with Our Mutts at the Franklin Co Dog Shelter and various adoption events around Columbus, Ohio

Our Adoption Process...

Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.
