Navajo's Info...

I am a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Navajo's Story...
Navajo is such a sweet baby! He is a baby Husky and Hound mix who was born at the end of August, 2016.

He is a total love bug! Navajo loves to cuddle with you on the couch and will curl up on your lap to sleep and keep him warm. He loves playing with other dogs, and is fascinated by cats (but doesn't hurt them!). He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls. He does have an condition called megaesophagus where he will need more care and attention for the rest of his life but he is totally worth it! 💙

He is working on crate training and house breaking. He will keep his crate dry during the night. Navajo is still getting braver every day and is complete joy.

Adoption Fee $300, apply to adopt at causeforcanines.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Navajo, a Columbus Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
