Kay's Story...
Kay (aka Juno) is an adorable little Chihuahua looking for a loving family. She is the tiniest little lady, only about 7lbs and is 6-7yrs old.

Kay likes to always be close to her people. She does her own thing, demands attention when she wants it and is a little more stubborn than her sister Tee. Kay likes to burrow under blankets, play with the other pups, chew on rawhides and squeaky toys. She is wonderful with other dogs large or small and could care less about cats.

Kay is extremely bonded to her sister Tee so they must be adopted together.

Adoption fee $390 for both, apply to adopt at causeforcanines.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kay, a Columbus Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
