Prima Ballerina's Story...
Austin Boxer Rescue Silverhearts are some of the sweetest, most loving dogs you’ll meet. Prima Ballerina is one and she fits the bill well. She is about 13 years old, heartworm negative and has a gorgeous brindle coat that is gracefully gaining silver highlights. You would not know Prima is an older lady from her activity.
She keeps up with a 6 year old female and two 5 year old male Boxers in her foster home. Like most of our senior friends she lets them know when it’s time to calm down too. She is house, crate and leash trained but really doesn’t need a crate. She is learning how to play with toys and loves wearing sweaters and coats. We don’t know if she has met cats or kids, but she’s pretty calm and well mannered.
There is a page for Silverhearts and how ABR supports them and their families. Prima Ballerina’s foster mom say she is “beautiful inside and out” and she is ready to grace your family with her beauty.
Our mission: To balance the health, safety, and welfare needs of canines in the Central Texas area by providing nourishment and a safe environment for unwanted, stray, abused, and impounded Boxers. Once placed in new homes they become more than just pets, they become family.
