Ava's Story...
Hi there! I'm Ava, and I am a beautiful, adorable, and affectionate Bombay/ black domestic short hair mix little girl who was born in late August 2016. I am very outgoing and friendly and get along great with everyone - cats, little dogs, and people - in my foster home. Most of all I like playing hard with my littermates, Adam, Ajax, Adrian, and Amber.
My siblings and I had the misfortune of being born at a shelter. Our mom was feral, so she was spayed and released, but the shelter kept us because we were too young to be outside and fending for ourselves. Then it was our lucky day when our Buster's Friends' foster meowmy came to the shelter, fell in love with us, and got us out!
As much as I like my foster home, I would like a lifetime home for my very own. It would even be fun if my future human family wanted to adopt me and one of my siblings. After you watch the attached YouTube video that appeared on Animal Planet or Google 'Cats 101 Bombay,' I'm sure that you will want to meet me right away because Bombay mixes get so attached to their human companions.
Ava is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Hers adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Ava, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her. To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava, a Fort Worth Bombay kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Bombay kitten from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
