Maci's Story...
Hi y'all! My name is Maci and I'm a silly girl from the south. I am a one year old Great Dane mix and you will need lots of room for me since I am so big! I'm a smart girl and they tell me that I'm a quick learner. I know how to sit and shake. I am also crate trained and do pretty good on a leash. I do tend to bark a little (ok sometimes a lot) when I get really excited. I get along with other dogs and kids. I have not been cat tested. I am being fostered in Tennessee. You will be able to speak wo my foster mom to learn all about me!
I am spayed and UTD on all of my vaccinations. I am heart worm negative and microchipped. I am on a heart worm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maci, a Allentown Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
