Snickers's Story...
Meet our newest Pen Pals pup, SNICKERS!! ...and boy is she sweet!! This girl was rescued just in the nick-of-time less than 24 hours before being euthanized, and brought in to the Department of Corrections K9 training unit to be taught to sniff for contraband in the prisons. Unfortunately, she flunked out because her sniffer wasn't quite strong enough! She sure is a smart cookie though! We think she's going to make huge progress with some obedience training from our Pen Pals handlers. She is friendly towards other dogs and people and VERY toy motivated! She absolutely loves a long game of fetch and she seems to be learning remarkably quickly! Stay tuned for updates on this pretty girl. We'll make a graduate out of her yet!

Snickers is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Richmond Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
