Harlow's Story...
You’ve fallen in love already?! But we only just met, don’t you think things are moving a little fast? Yes! Yes, I want to run away with you and never look back. Let’s carve a life out for ourselves under the stars and see the world where others are afraid to venture. I have been waiting my whole life to meet someone like you. I knew that there was a reason I headed down this path, but I did not know that you would be standing before me like a beacon of light and hope. I want to be everything you could ever dream of because you are my dream come true. Just tell me what you want, and I’ll make it yours; just be prepared to provide me with plenty of training , guidance and love. Show me the babies you want me to kiss, the cats you want me to meet, and the other dogs we shall keep in company. Show me the world, and you will always have all of me. 12 weeks old-18lbs. My adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harlow, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
