My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Why, hello there! My name is Maggie and I am a 1 year old female Great Pyrenees/Golden mix. I am a very sweet girl and I once had it all. I had an awesome home where I was loved and adored. I was the cutest puppy you had ever laid eyes on and life was great. As I grew older though things started to change. I was no longer the object of everyone's affection and soon I was all but forgotten...just a nuisance who had to be taken care of. When my owners no longer wished to deal with me anymore they flat out dumped me. Yea, they loaded me up in a car, drove me out to some rural country home and dumped me. I soon showed up at someones house where I stayed for weeks, enjoying the scraps of food that were throw out to me. Finally, it was decided I could no longer stay there though and I was brought to the shelter.

Here my hopes began to rise, maybe my owners would come for me. Maybe they realized they had made a huge mistake and they were going to come save me. I remained hopfeul for days before I realized the truth..they were not coming for me. While my owners did not come for me, a rescue did. I am now in a loving foster home and have other dogs to play with, dog beds to crash out on, and a big fenced in yard to explore. I have met the cats and am fine with them and do well with children. I am not used to the leash yet but am slowly getting better, and it would appear that I am housebroken already. I am so relieved to finally be a part of the family again and I cannot WAIT to meet my forever family. Maybe they will take me on walks and to the dog park....or maybe they have a huge backayrd for me to romp around in and nice cozy house to come back in too. Maybe they will have a lot fof dog beds for me to curl up in or some kids to love on. Maybe just maybe they will love me as much as I love them!

My adoption fee is $200 and I will be fully vettted, micro-chipped, spayed, negative for heartworms and erlichia, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prev. If you would like to adopt me please fill out an adoption app at http://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app
